About Us

Advanced Care For Chronic Skin Disease

Clinovia is a dermatology clinic focused on chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema. We treat more than the visible patch: triggers, barrier function and quality of life are managed together.

Our Mission

To give every patient with chronic skin disease an evidence-based, accessible treatment plan and to keep flare-ups to a minimum.

Our Vision

To be the first-choice, multilingual and transparent centre for psoriasis and eczema care in Türkiye.

Conditions

Skin conditions we follow

Every subtype of psoriasis and eczema plus the other skin conditions we see most. Each page covers how it presents, what triggers it and how we treat it.

Psoriasis Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated skin disease that produces thickened, well-defined plaques topped with silvery scale, most often on the elbows, knees, lower back and scalp. Learn more
Eczema & Dermatitis Eczema is a group of chronic, itchy inflammatory conditions in which a weakened skin barrier and an over-reactive immune response leave the skin dry, red and easily irritated. Learn more
Other Skin Conditions Alongside psoriasis and eczema, Clinovia assesses and treats a broad range of skin, hair and nail conditions, from vitiligo and hives to hair loss, fungal infection and mole checks. Learn more

We go deep on two disease groups. Each subtype needs its own treatment path — an accurate diagnosis is half of the result.

The Inside Out Approach

A cortisone-free protocol and a whole-picture assessment

Psoriasis and eczema are not only a surface problem. We assess the skin barrier, inflammation, nutrition and lifestyle, comorbidities and dermatological treatment together. Evidence-based dermatology remains the backbone; nutrition and lifestyle support that plan.

01

The Gut–Skin Relationship

We review digestive symptoms, dietary pattern and food-sensitivity history. The link between gut microbiome and inflammatory skin disease is still being researched, so it is addressed alongside — never instead of — dermatological treatment.

02

Cortisone-Free Protocol

First-line calcineurin and PDE-4 inhibitors, ceramide-based barrier repair and phototherapy instead of steroids; systemic and biologic steps when needed.

03

Systemic Repair

Vitamin D, zinc, omega-3 and iron levels plus thyroid and insulin resistance are screened, and any deficits found are built into the plan.

04

Measurable Follow-up

PASI/EASI and DLQI scores are tracked alongside laboratory values; steps that do not deliver a response are removed from the plan.

The MethodsWe Provide

A stepwise approach: topical care in mild disease, phototherapy and biologic agents in moderate-to-severe cases.

NB-UVB Phototherapy

Narrowband UVB at 311 nm calms inflammation in psoriasis and eczema without cortisone. Sessions run two to three times a week, with a typical course of 20–30 and PASI/EASI tracking.

PUVA & Targeted Phototherapy

PUVA and targeted local units treat stubborn sites such as hands, feet and scalp with cortisone-free light. Dose and response are monitored throughout the course.

Moderate-severe psoriasisSevere eczema

Biologic Treatments

Biologic drugs selectively block targets such as IL-17 and IL-23 in psoriasis and IL-4/13 in eczema. They are considered in moderate-to-severe, resistant disease after screening.

Systemic Therapy

Systemic drugs such as methotrexate, cyclosporine and acitretin are used in widespread or resistant psoriasis and eczema, alongside laboratory and safety monitoring.

Cortisone-Free Topical Plan

A cortisone-free topical plan combines calcineurin inhibitors, PDE-4 inhibitors and ceramide barrier repair to control inflammation without steroid side effects.

Allergy & Patch Testing

Patch testing identifies the allergens driving contact eczema. A panel of 40-plus allergens is applied to the back, read over several days, and turned into an avoidance list.

Our Technology

Drug-free control withour phototherapy unit

A full-body cabin plus local hand-and-foot units deliver controlled UV therapy for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and vitiligo. Every session is recorded with dosimetry.

  • Dosimetry logging. Cumulative UV dose tracked per patient.
  • Short sessions. 3–8 minutes on average, two to three times a week.
  • Pregnancy-compatible option. Suitable for patients who cannot use systemic drugs.
  • Suitable for children. Paediatric dosing protocols available.

Measurable Follow-up

We track treatment bymeasurement, not impression

At every review we score disease severity and quality of life and record laboratory follow-up, so which step is working is never a matter of opinion.

PASI / EASI scoring

Severity is scored the same way at every visit — PASI in psoriasis, EASI in eczema.

Quality of life with DLQI

Itch, sleep and daily-life impact are tracked on a standard scale, and the treatment target is updated accordingly.

Dosimetry and laboratory records

Cumulative UV dose in phototherapy and laboratory results in systemic therapy are kept in your file.

How Is NB-UVB Phototherapy Given?

NB-UVB phototherapy is a cortisone-free light treatment widely used in psoriasis and eczema. We explain how sessions are planned, how long they last, and what we watch for.

The Gut-Skin Axis and Psoriasis

The link between gut health and skin disease is increasingly well understood. We explain in plain language how the gut-skin axis may influence the course of psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a chronic disease, but with the right treatment the skin can clear entirely and long remission periods are possible. Our goal is to make flares rarer and milder.

A detailed history plus patch testing with 40+ allergens identifies occupational, cosmetic and environmental triggers. Results drive an avoidance list and a barrier-care plan.

NB-UVB is safe when cumulative dose is monitored. A typical course is 20–30 sessions at two to three per week; the first response usually appears within 4–6 weeks.

Patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis or severe atopic dermatitis who did not respond adequately to phototherapy and systemic therapy. Eligibility is confirmed after screening tests.

Yes. For infant eczema and paediatric psoriasis we use age-appropriate topical stepping, a moisturising routine and, when indicated, paediatric phototherapy dosing.

Consultation and treatment plans are available in Georgian, English, Turkish, Azerbaijani and Russian. Your written treatment scheme is issued in the language you choose.

Our standard protocols are cortisone-free. We work with topical calcineurin inhibitors, PDE-4 inhibitors, ceramide-based barrier repair, NB-UVB phototherapy and biologic agents when needed. Cortisone is considered only for very short, unavoidable situations and with the patient's consent.

Diet, weight, smoking and stress are known to influence the course of chronic inflammatory skin disease, while the link with the gut microbiome is still an active research area. We therefore plan nutrition and lifestyle work as support for your treatment, never as an alternative — the backbone is always evidence-based dermatology.
